Being a member of the New Business Team at Admiral is all about selling our customers a policy tailored to fit their needs. Yes, there are targets to meet, but with interested customers calling you, and a wealth of great products to pitch, being on target is definitely achievable. And once you’ve completed our training program, you'll be perfectly placed to do just that. And the better you do, the more you earn.
When customers call in, you'll tell them all about our insurance products so they can tailor their policy to meet their personal insurance requirements, which you then input as you close the sale. Our team is a pretty happy lot. In fact, once people join the sales team they tend to stick around. Why? Because success at Admiral isn't about being aggressive or pushy – it's about making sure every customer finds the right policy.
It goes without saying that you will have a first rate phone manner – polite, considerate, and articulate. You’ll also need basic computer skills (Internet and data entry), bags of initiative, and a genuine desire to keep learning, solve problems and find answers for our customers. You will be a great listener, show outstanding product knowledge and be able to match our products to our customers' needs. You'll need to be flexible too, and open to new ideas. Bonuses are awarded on a sliding scale – the more policies you sell, the greater the rewards.
