Admiral Insurance takes applicant privacy seriously. Any information gathered during the employment application process is kept strictly confidential, and controlled according to best practices as laid out in PIPEDA and the rulings of the Privacy Commissioner for Canada.
How will my information be used?
Information gathered on this website will be used in consideration of employment with Admiral Insurance. The information of those successfully employed will be stored in an employee file on an onsite, offline server. This is consistent with Admiral’s process for all employee files. If unsuccessful, applications are stored on a server protected by SSL for 12 months, at which time it is deleted. At no time will information be provided to a third party, or be exposed to anyone outside Admiral Insurance.
Who has access to my information?
The Human Resources department will have exclusive access to the information. All members of the department have signed Confidentiality Agreements with Admiral Insurance. All information is kept on secure servers.
How do I access, update, or delete my information?
To request information submitted via this website be removed or updated, contact (902) 406-3200. All information requests will require answering some general data protection questions before anything will be provided in order to best protect privacy.
