Admiral Halifax’s participation in a fundraiser for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada was once again an overwhelming success, as our office committed to a purchase of 161 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts to benefit the Foundation's 2017 'One Wish in One Day' annual fundraiser.
That’s a whopping 1932 donuts purchased - which eclipses Admiral's total of 1236 donuts bought in 2016.
Our continued commitment to this charitable cause even landed us some air time on CTV Morning Live where Admiral’s purchase was recognized as being one of the largest of any corporate entity in the Halifax region
"This is always a fun time of year for us," said Human Resources Manager, Nick Beynon.
"We look forward to having an inner-office rivalry based on who can raise the most money or sell the most Krispy Kremes. But at the end of the day, it's The Children's Wish Foundation that benefits, so we're always happy and eager to participate."
All funds raised by Admiral and other participating companies goes towards benefitting Children’s Wish Foundation continued programs and services.
Special recognition to Halifax Renewals Senior Care Representative Matt Caldi (pictured above) who sold 66 dozen donuts through his social media, family and friends – well done, Matt!
