How long have you worked at Admiral?

I have worked for Admiral Insurance for 13 years!

Describe what you do.

I am the Trainer for the Customer Assurance department and complete overall site training for the Halifax office.

What attracted you to Admiral?

I was attracted to Admiral for the work/life balance as I have a lot of outside activities I complete.

What’s your greatest success to date at Admiral?

My greatest success since I have been with the company are the numerous opportunities I have had to develop myself and the people around me. I have trained people in our India and UK offices and have been very privileged to work in and with multiple departments. Our customers are fantastic individuals that need someone to help them solve their difficulties and I teach staff to do that!

What kind of person succeeds in your role?

To succeed in my role, some skills you need are to keep an open mind and be adaptable. No one wants to show up to work to do a bad job, they just need to identify the tools that will work for them! You will never know everything so ask questions and don’t be afraid to learn!
