How long have you worked at Admiral?

I started at Admiral in August, 2012.

Describe what you do.

Currently, I'm on the Top Priority team in Renewals. Our skill set is generally aimed at servicing the more difficult of renewing policies. We are prioritized to receive calls before others in the Save the Business or Value queues, with the ultimate goal of keeping a higher number of returning customers.  

What attracted you to Admiral?

Admiral is a decorated company with consistently high finishes on the Best Places to Work list here in Canada. I took notice and decided to give it a try. Five years later, it's clear I made the right decision. It's a "get what you put in atmosphere" - work hard and you will be rewarded. 

What’s your greatest success to date at Admiral?

Through the years I've been recognized for a number of awards from 'Top Sales' in Halifax to 'Highest Retainer'. I've been a Halifax Renewals Champ, as well as received star shares. Since I'll never win the "Admirals Got Talent" award, I'd have to say winning CCR of the Year at our most recent Awards Gala takes the cake. 

What kind of person succeeds in your role?

A person who can learn from the people around them. In my first year I was a sponge soaking in all the information I could from my peers and trainers. The more job knowledge I gained the more confident I became, the more confident I became the better I could help my customers, the better I helped my customers the better my stats became.
