About the Job – Network Security Engineer
Our Network Security Engineers operate within the Platform Technology area of Platform Services and take primary responsibility for monitoring and maintaining a secure network environment through knowledge and tooling, working closely with other teams across Admiral Data & Tech, and Cybersecurity.
Reporting to the Network Security Domain Lead, a Network Security Engineer will configure systems to defined standards, deliver a secure environment, and drive service improvements and enhancements.
Platform Technology has a long history of managing networks, firewalls, and application delivery controllers through a central Network team. More recently, Network Security has been separated into its own area to focus on a broadening remit and wider portfolio of tools, including WAAP, SASE, and PKI. Directionally, we are looking to implement greater levels of automation and self-service to increase velocity across all engineering teams.
